The window films are pre cut or hand cut before installed. The films are formed to fit each individual window and then applied with a soap solution on the inside of the window.

Most places require 3-5 days for the films to cure. At WindowEffects, we take the extra time to heat the outside of your windows so you can wind your windows down the same day.

All jobs vary depending on how many windows. Two fronts anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes depending on skill level requried. Four door vehicles anywhere from 2 hours to 4 hours depending on the difficulty of the install and curvature of the windows.

Not all glass is clear. Factory tint is 70 percent. The darkest film you can get installed is 43 percent. When the 43 is combined with the 70 natural in the glass it will meter between 32-35 percent. This will PASS inspection.

Yes, but only on trucks and suvs. Car windows must have all windows no lower than 32 percent.

Factory tint is made at the factory and its a smoked glass that is 18-20 percent on the back of trucks and suvs. If you have tint on your driver and passenger side windows it's from the dealership and not the factory.
