1. Services

WindowEffects provides automotive, residential, and commercial services that may include window tinting, paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coatings, detailing, vinyl/wrap services, decorative films, solar-control films, privacy films, security films, and related products and services.

Service availability, pricing, installation times, warranties, and product options may vary depending on the vehicle, property, project, materials selected, and condition of the surfaces being serviced.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes and estimates are based on the information available to WindowEffects at the time they are provided. Final pricing may change if the actual vehicle, glass, surface condition, measurements, existing film, contamination, damage, removal requirements, or scope of work differs from the information originally provided.

Additional work will not be performed without customer authorization when reasonably practicable.

Promotional pricing, discounts, and special offers may be subject to expiration dates, availability, and additional terms.

3. Appointments, Deposits, and Cancellations

Certain appointments may require a deposit to reserve installation time or order materials.

Deposits may be applied toward the final balance of the service. Cancellation, rescheduling, and deposit policies communicated at the time of booking will apply to the appointment.

Special-order or custom-cut materials may be non-refundable once materials have been ordered or production has begun.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their vehicle, property, glass, and requested services.

Customers should disclose any known damage, previous repairs, aftermarket modifications, existing window film, coatings, paint defects, glass defects, electrical problems, or other conditions that could affect the installation.

For residential and commercial installations, customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the work areas and removing or protecting personal belongings, furniture, wall decorations, window treatments, and other obstructions unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

5. Window Film and Installation

Window film is installed using professional industry practices. Because window film is applied to existing glass, certain pre-existing conditions may become more noticeable after installation, including scratches, chips, distortion, imperfections, contamination, manufacturing defects, or defects within the glass itself.

Minor installation characteristics that do not materially affect the performance of the film may be considered normal within industry standards.

Customers should follow all aftercare instructions provided by WindowEffects.

6. Automotive Window Tint Laws

Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with applicable window tint laws and regulations.

WindowEffects may provide general information regarding tint laws as a convenience, but such information should not be considered legal advice. Laws and enforcement practices may change.

The vehicle owner remains responsible for the legal operation of the vehicle.

7. Paint Protection Film, Vinyl, and Ceramic Coatings

The condition of a vehicle's paint and surfaces can affect the appearance and performance of PPF, vinyl, and ceramic coatings.

Pre-existing paint damage, rock chips, scratches, oxidation, previous paintwork, body repairs, poorly bonded paint, or other defects may become more noticeable during or after installation.

WindowEffects is not responsible for failure of improperly applied, previously repaired, or poorly bonded paint or clear coat that existed before our services were performed.

Customers must follow the recommended curing and aftercare instructions.

8. Residential and Commercial Glass

Window film changes the solar-energy characteristics of glass. WindowEffects selects products based on information available regarding the glass and installation.

Glass can contain pre-existing defects, edge damage, installation stresses, manufacturing defects, or other conditions that are not visible before film installation.

Unless otherwise specifically provided by a written manufacturer or WindowEffects warranty, WindowEffects does not guarantee against glass breakage, seal failure, or pre-existing glass defects unrelated to improper installation of the film.

Any manufacturer glass-breakage or seal-failure warranty is subject to that manufacturer's specific terms, qualifications, exclusions, and claim procedures.

9. Warranties

Applicable warranties vary by product and service.

Certain window films may include a manufacturer's lifetime or limited warranty. PPF, ceramic coatings, vinyl products, and other products may carry separate manufacturer warranties.

Warranty coverage does not include damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper maintenance, environmental contamination, normal wear and tear, vandalism, subsequent repairs, or failure to follow aftercare instructions unless specifically covered by the applicable written warranty.

Manufacturer warranties are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.

10. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure information on our website is accurate. However, product specifications, pricing, availability, photographs, descriptions, warranties, and other information may change without notice.

Images shown on the website are for illustrative purposes and may not exactly represent the final appearance of a particular product or installation.

By providing your mobile phone number and expressly consenting to receive text messages from WindowEffects, you agree that we may send you messages related to inquiries, quotes, appointments, service updates, customer support, and other communications you have requested or consented to receive.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of marketing or promotional text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may reply HELP for assistance.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

The WindowEffects name, logos, website content, photographs, graphics, designs, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to WindowEffects and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially used without permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WindowEffects will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from use of our website or services.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Our website or communications may reference products, manufacturers, financing providers, payment processors, or other third-party services.

Those third parties may have their own terms, warranties, and privacy practices. WindowEffects is not responsible for the independent actions or policies of third parties.
